I love 3D printing but sometimes find it takes a lot of the creativity out of a build.
I love scratch building but miss the high level of detail I can get from my 3D prints.

I've started working on a new project where I print high detail "stock" components like I-Beams, Decking, Corrugated Sheets and more. Using these with some spare resin and a UV torch I can "weld" them together and get the best of both worlds.

It's not quite scratch building of course but close enough for me and is much easier for me to get the parts I need than it is to get styrene components (where I am at least).

I'm getting the files fit for distribution, so you should see them soon, but I'm pretty happy with how it worked out:
